I initiated a small project called “Blessings” alongside close friends, family, and colleagues to support children in need at Apeksha Hospital, Sri Lanka’s only cancer institution. We work closely with the hospital to assess their current needs, providing essential support to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the children and their families to the best of our abilities.

During university, I took part in a project organized by the Lanka Institute of Fashion Technology (LIFT-Sri Lanka) to support children at the Ceylon School for the Deaf and Blind. Together, we worked with the children to create handcrafted items, which we sold at a local fair. All proceeds were donated to the school to support its programs and resources.

“Run for Their Lives” (RFTL) is an annual 5km run organized by a local Rotaract club to raise funds for Apeksha Hospital, the national cancer institute in Sri Lanka. I have had the privilege of participating in this inspiring event on several occasions, contributing to a cause that supports cancer patients and their families.
